Wellness Log

Ok, before everyone panics there is a key for this log if you scroll to the end and it explains all the little symbols!

Basically, this log is for those of you who want to see if, how, and when different foods/pills or outside forces such as barometrics, weather, stress, and for us ladies our cycles (gents I may make one w/o this row if there is interest) and how all these things can come into play with our different WD neuro symptoms and how they all interact together. While this might be too intense for some, for others this can be a valuable tool for helping you pinpoint spikes in your symptoms and what things/foods might be triggering you.

The reason I take into account all these outside forces is because I know that certain parts of my cycle or barometrics or stress play a huge part in my neuro symptoms. So, knowing in advance that this week will be stressful (positive stress (happy event) or negative stress (heavy workload)) or the barometrics have been forecasted to be terrible, I can track them on a daily basis along with the new food I’m trying, and it really helps. Because knowing this I can have a better idea of if it’s the new food I’m trying or something else that might be making things worse for me.

I like to track any new food/pill/thing I’m trying by starting on day 0 this is the day before you start the new thing, so you have something to mark your symptoms against. For instance, if its already looking like a rough week, symptoms wise, I will either take that into account or I will simply wait till a better time to start trying, peanuts, for example.

Now that I’ve started, I track the new food/pill/thing for the next month to see how my body reacts and sometimes (like this month) things will have been too stressful, so I’ll extend my tracking for another month. Other times it will be so obvious that whatever new thing I’ve started taking has had such an intense effect that I won’t need to track long at all. Nuts, for instance, I get a negative reaction with in 24hrs of having some. While chocolate sometimes actually helps more than it hurts. The important thing and the point of this tracker is to help you get more in tune with & listen to your body.
