Ingredients
2 ½ C Diced Carrots
1 C Celery
1 C Peas
1 sm Onion (½ of large onion) Diced
2 Chicken Breasts Cubed
¼ tsp Sage
1 tsp Summer Savory
1 tsp Onion Seasoning
1 tsp Marjoram
2 TB Garlic
½ tsp Rosemary
½ tsp Poultry Seasoning
Pepper
Salt
2 32oz cartons of Chicken Broth
2 TB Butter
Instructions
Slow Cooker
Place frozen Veggies in slow cooker.
Cube chicken and place in slow cooker.
Add seasonings broth and butter.
Cook on high 4 four to 6 hours or until chicken is fully cooked.
And Serve.
Stove
Place butter in 4qt. pot on medium heat.
Add chopped veggies, cubed chicken, and seasonings to pot.
Add half the broth to pot after chicken is almost cooked and let simmer for 5 min.
Add the rest of the broth and let that simmer till veggies are soft.
And Serve.
Microwave
Chop veggies and place in 4qt. microwavable bowl.
Add seasonings, butter, and broth to bowl. Cook for 10min on high.
Cube chicken
Take veggies out of the microwave and add chicken.
Place in microwave on high for 15 to 20 minutes or till the chicken is cooked and veggies are tender.
NOTE: You can add any kind of veggie you like. These are just some of my favs!😎 Also if you are wondering what I paired my delicious soup with its my twist on a grilled cheese sandwich. Its a flour tortilla smeared with garlic butter and filled with yummy white cheddar cheese.
