Ok first off, sorry this update post has taken so long to get to you! But between healing and Corona it’s been difficult to get this to you.
So with that said, I went back in June to get my right ear pierced. Talk about a completely different experience! From the start, I had to go in by myself *eeep* 😳 and wear a mask the entire time which felt soo weird! Now, I don’t know if it was the fact that I knew what to expect or the location was slightly different than on my left ear or if my right ear was less sensitive than my left, but this time it was way less painful and way less blood. Which was awesome!
After a couple months, having both ears pierced, I somehow feel more balanced, a lot of my shakes are way less painful, and I have noticed a little more muscle control (see the video below).
While it’s great that in that position (see above) I can hold my hands still, I have less pain, and I am more consistent with my gross motor skills; my fine motor skills still leave something to be desired. But it is still progress!🎉🥳🎉💕
I definitely have no regrets when it comes to my Daith piercings and would recommend it to others. It definitely is not a cure-all, but it is a helpful step in the right direction and that’s all we can really ask for, right? Now for finding some cute new earrings!!💖💃💝
